Emmanuelle Masson “EMA.M” was born in Paris in 1963.
Painting or her bubble, as she calls it, has defined her life from an early age. Beyond a passion, it's an addiction ...
After studying art abroad, a stint at Saatchi & Saatchi, a career in modeling and advertising, EMA.M quickly realized that it was in her bubble that she feels alive and free of all constraints. There she expresses, communicates and shares.
"My bubble is my refuge"
It was 2006 when her work was first presented to the public: New York, Cannes, Paris, Istanbul ...
In September 2012, EMA.M received the first prize ("Artist of the World") for painting at the International Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Cannes. She exhibited a collection that featured an interpretational portrait of Picasso which was well received by the sponsor of the event: Ms. Marina Picasso.
EMA.M lives her art through her emotions. She feeds from her history, dreams and of her delusions. Her works are heterogeneous assemblies of different materials, overlays, explosive materials and colors that confront each other in a psychedelic harmony that reveals the soul of the artist.
